The top official further added that "various options" were being thoroughly examined for the pizza division.
Pizza Hut, which experienced outlet performance at its existing outlets decline by 1% overall during the latest three-month period, has persistently fallen behind other prominent names within the Yum! corporate portfolio. Industry competitors in the pizza industry, such as Papa Johns and Domino's Pizza, continue to increase their presence, exacerbating Pizza Hut's persistent challenges to remain relevant. Domino's previously disclosed that its three-month revenue grew nearly 6%, which organization leaders credited partially to marketing campaigns.
In addition to strong market competition within the pizza industry, Yum! has faced a significant pullback in customer expenditure among shoppers affected by ongoing price increases and a weakening in the job market.
